Mumbai Games Athletics Event -
Categories: 100m, 200m, 400m, 1500m, 4*100m, Shot-put, Long Jump

  1. Format:
    • Tracks
      • Only the top 3 participants will qualify for the next round
      • All the participants will be representing their respective zones.
      • Each heat will contain 8 participants competing simultaneously.
      • Participants can participate in different categories like 100m, 200m, 400m etc in only one age group.
    • Shot put and Long Jump
      • Only the top 12 participants after all the qualifying rounds will be selected for the Finals
      • 6 attempts will be given in all rounds. The best score will be considered.

  1. Points:
    • For All Men and Women Categories–
      • 100m
      • 200m
      • 400m
      • 1500m
      • 4 x 100m  Relay
      • Shot-put
      • Long Jump
    • All other Standard rules apply.
    • Medals will be awarded only to the first 3 positions of each age category. Only points for the fourth position will be considered in order to calculate the zone points.
    • Zone Points for each position for MUMBAI GAMES champions trophy will be provided in the following way –
        • Gold – 100 points
        • Silver – 75 points
        • Bronze – 50 points
        • Fourth Place - 25 points
  1. Equipments:
    • Participants will have to get their own kit.
  1. Other Rules:
    • Players will NOT be allowed to enter the field without the BIB and ID proof.
    • Players should always wear their Mumbai Games BIB.
    • Players found without the BIBs will be disqualified.
    • Players have to report at least 60 minutes before the scheduled time.
    • Players have to register at the registration desk at least 30 min prior to the start of their round.
    • Only those players whose heats are scheduled to start immediately should be on the tracks.
    • Players whose heats are NOT scheduled to start immediately should be in the player’s area.
    • Players have to be in the player’s arena at all point of time.
    • Audience and supporters are NOT allowed on the tracks.
    • Players have to clarify the rules with the referee before the start of the match.
    • NO abusive language, violence or arguments will be allowed. If found so the player/team will be disqualified.
    • In case of dispute, players have to submit a formal written complaint within 15 minutes from the occurrence of the dispute. Referee Decision will be final and binding.
    • The Referees decision will be final and binding for all matters pertaining to the event/tournament.

NOTE:
PARTICIPANTS ONLY IN PROPER ATTIRE WILL BE ALLOWED.
PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUESTED TO CARRY THEIR OWN SPORT SHOES. PARTICIPANTS IN FLOATERS AND SLIPPERS WON’T BE ALLOWED.
CASUAL TROUSERS LIKE JEANS ETC OR FORMAL DRESSES WILL NOT BE PERMITTED.
RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. REFEREES AND ORGANIZERS DECISION WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING.
ALL TECHNICAL RULES WILL BE CLARIFIED AT THE EVENT DAY.
