Mumbai Games Football Event

  1. Format:
    1. FUTSAL event will be played on league + knock out basis.
    2. All the teams will be representing their respective zones.
    3. 8 players per team

  3. Points:
    1. For All Men and women Categories -
      1. All the matches from qualifiers to finals will be of 10 min 2 halves each
    2. 5 players per team will be on the field and the remaining 3 will be substitutes.
    3. In case of a tie of scores during any match the match will be decided by a best of 3 penalty shoot-out.
    4. No offside
    5. Rolling substitution.
    6. Medals will be awarded only to the 1st 3 positions of each age category. Only points for the fourth position will be considered in order to calculate the zone points.
    7. Zone Points for each position for ‘MUMBAI GAMES champions trophy will be provided in the following way –
        1. Gold – 100 points
        2. Silver – 75 points
        3. Bronze – 50 points
        4. Fourth Place – 25 points
  4. Equipments:
    1. Participants will have to get their own rubber sole studs & kit.
    2. Football will be provided.
  5. Other Rules:
    • Players will NOT be allowed to enter the field without an ID proof.
    • Players should always wear their Mumbai Games BIB.
    • Players found without the BIBs will be disqualified.
    • Players have to report at least 60 minutes before the scheduled time.
    • Players have to register at the registration desk at least 30 min prior to the start of their round.
    • Team has to wear identical color jersey to avoid confusion.
    • Pitch for Practice or warm up will NOT be available.
    • Only those teams whose matches are scheduled to start immediately should be ready outside the pitch.
    • Players whose matches are NOT scheduled to start immediately should be in the player’s area.
    • Players have to be in the player’s arena at all point of time.
    • Audience and supporters are not allowed on the playing area.
    • Players have to clarify the rules with the court referee before the start of the match.
    • No abusive language, violence or arguments will be allowed. If found so the player/team will be disqualified.
    • In case of dispute, teams have to submit a formal written complaint within 15 minutes from the occurrence of the dispute. Referee Decision will be final and binding.
    • The Referees decision will be final and binding for all matters pertaining to the event/tournament

NOTE:
PARTICIPANTS IN ONLY RUBBER SOLE STUDS SHOES WILL BE ALLOWED. PARTICIPANTS IN SHOES WITH METAL SPIKES OR FLOATERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY.
PLAYERS WILL STRICTLY HAVE TO WEAR SPORTS ATTIRE – T-SHIRTS, SHORTS OR TRACK PANTS. NO CASUAL TROUSERS LIKE JEANS ETC OR FORMAL DRESSES WILL BE PERMITTED.
RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. REFEREES AND ORGANIZERS DECISION WILL BE FINAL AND BINDING.
ALL TECHNICAL RULES WILL BE CLARIFIED AT THE EVENT DAY.
